Bridging Research and Practice

The Learning Games Network is a non-profit spin-off of the MIT Education Arcade established to bridge the gap between research and practice in game-based learning.

We work with educational publishers and media producers to design better learning games and develop new business models for getting them into the hands of teachers and students.

We develop resources to help teachers use games in the classroom.

We organize local and online events for teachers and students to learn about game design and new media for education.

Our aim is help realize the potential of powerful new digital media for education by applying the best research in the learning sciences, creative design, and technology to new products, projects, and services.

Let's work together to create the future!
